Lauren T., Charlotte, NC: "Everything was handled professionally from start to finish. The delivery to our campsite in Asheville made the whole experience stress-free."
The season runs November 3 to January 10. RVs park free in Lot C, but the estate has no campground, so book a winter site early.

Most ticketed venues either stay silent on oversized vehicles or turn them away. Biltmore publishes the opposite. RV parking is in Lot C, a complimentary shuttle runs from there to the house, and parking is included in admission rather than charged on top. Drivers are told to find the first available parking host for help.
Getting in is straightforward. Finding somewhere to sleep is not. The season runs into the second week of January, and most campgrounds in these mountains shut from November through March. The handful that stay open all year are the whole decision.

The daytime season runs November 3 to January 10, with Candlelight Christmas Evenings ending a day earlier on January 9. Ten weeks is a long window, and the details that shape a trip are all in the ticketing:
You arrive, you park, you ride in, and you sleep somewhere else.
At one of the few parks that does not close for the season. Asheville RV Park Resort on Jillian Trail in Fletcher runs full hookups at 30 and 50 amp and advertises year-round opening, taking motorhomes to about 45 feet. Asheville Bear Creek on South Bear Creek Road is open all year too, with every site on full hookups across 25 pull-through and 65 back-in spaces. Both Asheville KOAs, east at Swannanoa and west at Candler, also run year round.
The national forest sites are not a straight swap either. Lake Powhatan does stay open all year, though on limited services from November, while North Mills River drops to pit toilets with no water and no power at all. One caution on the east KOA: it reopened after Hurricane Helene but still has areas under repair and closed to guests. A Class C motorhome is the easiest of ours to heat and to place.
One thing to ask the park directly, because none of them publishes it: whether site water stays on through a hard January freeze and whether they expect you to bring a heated hose. It decides whether the week runs on hookups or on jugs. Then check your dates with us and we deliver the unit there and connect it before you arrive, and you drive in to Lot C, leave the rig and take the shuttle up to the house. If the dates move, our events page lists what else runs that season.

“Pickup was quick and seamless. The RV was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our Outer Banks trip. We’ll definitely be booking again.”
